What is Sock Rocket?

Sock Rocket is a Canadian social enterprise. We love cool socks, and we believe in doing good things for the communities in which we do business. We sell original, unique, awesome socks right here on our fancy website, we sell at markets and events across Canada, we do wholesale, and most of all we do custom orders for businesses and organizations who just want to promote themselves in a fun way. Best of all, we donate three pairs for every pair we sell.

Where do you donate?

Agencies and organizations all over the place who support those in need. Most are front-line shelters, homes, and medical facilities that serve our communities' most vulnerable - people from all walks of life who are experiencing homelessness, crisis, addiction, relocation, disability, disease, or other very hard times. We believe fundamentally that every human has a right to their own basic needs, and it turns out basic needs are not difficult (or expensive) to provide!

How do I know the socks will fit?

Our socks come in two sizes, small (shoe size 5-10), and large (shoe size 7-13). If your feet are within that range, chances are the socks will fit nicely. If they're slightly outside that range, chances are they'll still fit, but if you're a size 16, chances are you'll be disappointed...

Do you sell kids socks?

We sure do!

What are your socks made of?

Our socks are the perfect blend of comfort and durability: 85% cotton, 10% polyester, 5% spandex.

Where are your socks made?

Our socks are made in China by our all-star production team. Our production team has high standards across the board and delivers an exceptional product. We are very happy to support them as they have supported us for years! This is our 8th year with the same facility. 

Who designs your socks?

Several people. Our retail designer, Jessica, is responsible for the majority of our awesomest designs. We also have a handful which were designed by our Director of Arts and Crafts, Hope. We (the less graphically-inclined but equally enthusiastic staff members) also design a good chunk of our socks, and the rest are designed by artists who reach out or whom we reach out to / meet along the way. A handful were also designed by junior high and high school students, as we routinely facilitate in-school design contests. Interested? Be that human.

What if I don't like the socks? Can I exchange them?

What happened to your sock of the month subscription program?

We have officially discontinued our subscription, sorry to have to tell you like this. We know many people have loved this program for a long long time, and we hate to be pulling the plug, but drastic materials and shipping cost increases have made this service not-so-economical for us these days. We will continue to design and build awesome original retail socks for you to purchase individually on our site, and we will be focusing a lot more on our custom sock service. Shout out to all the OG sock subscribers. We love you forever.
