Sales Lead

Calgary, AB - Full Time, Remote

Sock Rocket is currently seeking an experienced Sales Lead to join our growing team. As the Sales Lead you will play a crucial role in cultivating relationships with new and existing clients to drive revenue for our custom sock business. This position is perfect for someone looking to take the next step in their sales career while working for a social impact organization.

We are seeking a Sales Lead to join our B2B custom sock team where we create branded products for organizations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in B2B sales, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build and manage their pipeline.

What you'll do:

  • Manage the sales process from discovery through closing by actively communicating with clients
  • Drive net new revenue for the business
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
  • Generate interest from key decision makers within different functions of prospect organizations
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with our in house designer to deliver engaging sock mockups to prospects
  • Build and manage a sales pipeline
  • Maintain in depth notes on deals in the CRM (HubSpot)
  • Self-manage tasks and follow-ups with prospects
  • Attend industry and customer events as needed
  • Participate in team meetings
  • Follow direction and provide feedback wherever possible to maintain and improve the process 
  • Crack jokes at every opportunity

Who you'll need:

  • 2+ years of closing experience in a B2B environment, experience in enterprise sales is a plus
  • 2+ years of consistent quota achievement
  • Experience with CRMs and managing deals through a sales pipeline, HubSpot experience is a plus
  • Strong conversation, organization, and time-management skills
  • Ability to think creatively to find alternative paths when barriers present themselves
  • Ability to create structure in a fast paced environment
  • Passion for social enterprise and/or for influencing meaningful change by way of traditional business
  • Solid and reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace

What you'll get:

  • $65,000 on-target earnings ($40,000 base salary + commissions)
