The official Sock Rocket launched in 2016 in Calgary, Canada as a social enterprise on a mission to bring fun and funky socks to the people of earth, and at the same time donate 1,000,000 pairs of socks to agencies and initiatives all over the place who are providing clothing to those in need. With little experience in retail sales, this was a lofty goal to say the least...

We started as a local sock of the month subscription program sending out a few dozen packages every month (big ups if this was you), and donating a pair for every pair sent. Eventually we grew to the point where we felt it was very possible to triple our social output, so we made it three for one donations and got to work!

Since then we've grown somewhat unexpectedly into one of the biggest sock companies around. These days, we design and produce the coolest socks you've ever seen, and we sell them right here on our website, both individually and as subscriptions, as well as at markets, events, and in over 100 stores across Canada and the USA. We've also made custom socks for over 400 different businesses, charities, brands, events, universities, and so much more. Most importantly, every single pair of socks we sell means we also donate THREE pairs to one of many organizations putting clothing donations to good use.

With a humble respect for the humans running the initiatives we support and a personal connection to several Canadian-based agencies which provide clothing donations to those in need, all combined with a passion for providing smiles and a very loyal and amazing customer base, Sock Rocket has been able to donate over 700,000 pairs of socks so far, and we have big plans to send that number to the moon (pun).

Thank you all so much for your love and support over the years. It's impossible to express how much it's meant to know that so many of you have sent and received our original designs over the years, and that so many of you believe in the power of social enterprise, as we do!

For every single pair of socks that Sock Rocket sells, we donate THREE pairs to organizations providing clothing to those in need. That means orders from our website, sock of the month subscriptions, custom socks, wholesale, as well as markets and events. Everything. We aren't doing it for the props, in fact we think there's a lot more we can do. We're doing it because we think it's the right thing to do. We want to walk the walk and show everyone that it's possible to be profitable AND socially responsible inside a small business model!

Our mission is to donate 1,000,000 pairs of socks to agencies and initiatives providing clothing to those in need. It's a lofty goal, but one that we feel confident we can achieve.
