Cybera is Alberta's research and education network facilitator, responsible for driving connections, collaborations and skills growth through the use of digital technology.
What made you choose Sock Rocket?
I first saw Sock Rocket socks at a horror convention. They looked really good and I asked if they did custom sock orders, I was told that custom socks were absolutely an option. Cybera holds an annual Cyber Summit and we are always looking for good swag ideas. I was told that custom socks were absolutely an option. I purchased a couple pairs that I liked at the booth and was able to product test them for a few months before we started brainstorming swag for the upcoming Summit. We decided to give Sock Rocket a shot and the rest is history. As an Alberta not-for-profit, we were especially happy to be using an Alberta based company who gave back to the community at large through their sock donations.
How was the product quality and customer service?
The customer service was impeccable and Sock Rocket really worked with us to make sure everything was as we wanted. The product quality is excellent, from the fact that they are soft, breathable cotton with ample stretch. To the colour and shape staying strong with repeated wear and washing.

What did you use the socks for? Did people enjoy receiving them?
We have done four custom orders in the last five/six year (two years we didn't do the Summit in-person due to Covid). Three custom orders have been done for our annual Cyber Summit conference swag, and one for Cybera branded socks for our staff and key stakeholders (our Board of Directors etc.). They have been a big hit and we've had to deter people from trying to take multiple pairs! People who have attended the Summit before will wear their socks to the following year's Summit or when they come to visit our offices. It is very common to see staff wearing their Cybera socks especially at our all-staff days when we do a company wide meeting and an activity. We are actually known for our Summit sock swag now, and people look forward to getting their new pair every year!

Lead time varies based on the quantity of your order, but 6 weeks is pretty standard.
We take care of everything from design to delivery. All you need to do is provide your ideas, vision, and any logo/graphic files you'd like included. We'll provide mockups for you to review and ulimited revisions, all free of charge!
We have sliding scale pricing based on the quantity of your order, but generally you can expect to pay between $9 and $13 per pair (CAD). Fill out the form to get in touch and we'll respond with our custom sock info pack, which has all the pricing details.
You can and you will! Your custom designed labels are free with whatever quantity of socks you purchase. We'll work with you to make sure your messaging, branding, and contact info are on point.
It's free!! The socks are the only thing you pay for - your designs, revisions, labels, samples, and shipping are all on us!
You betcha!! For every pair of socks you order, we'll donate three warm pairs to agencies and initiatives providing clothing to those in need. This is a cost that we carry, but it's something you get to promote to your audience alongside the stardard awesomeness of your new custom socks!
